The scope of works undertaken included; new kitchens and bathrooms, heating system replacements, new windows and doors, re-wiring, re-roofing, fabric repairs and environmental works, aids and adaptions and general building works.
The project involved co-ordinating with A1 to install air source heat pump systems and external wall insulation into a number of the more rural properties. This is helping to tackle fuel poverty for those with no access to gas.
For each task, United Living worked with A1 and the Collaborative Working Consultancy (CWC) to undertake audits of all costs and ensure all jobs were done efficiently. This process enabled A1 to install an additional 60 air pump systems.
