LB-Hounslow- The Maltings

The Maltings block was procured via the Fusion 21 framework and is technically a separate contract to Wynne Court, despite being secured as part of the same tender exercise. Both contracts run concurrently and have client design responsibility

The scope of works include: -Full internal refurbishment and internal alterations of a redundant sheltered accommodation block of 38 dwellings which formally comprised 32 bedsits and 6 one bedroom flats and associated communal facilities to develop 18 dwellings for general needs. The redevelopment comprises forming new 2, 3 and 4 bedroom flats of 7 different archetypes in total. In addition to the above both blocks also included the following:

  • Full electrical mechanical and water services replacements,
  • Retention of existing boiler plant
  • Upgrade to the existing communal heating distribution and in dwellings systems with new HRU’s and heat metering provision
